RED Concepts to realise office campus in Helsinki for media company Azerion

RED Concepts has won the contract to redevelop a former printing house in the centre of Helsinki into a six-floor office campus for media technology company Azerion. This 3,000-m2 office campus is located in the trendy district of Töölö, a lively location in the immediate vicinity of the parliament buildings and the new Oodi central library.
Construction work has started and Azerion can expect to take delivery of the campus in October 2020.

Azerion Campus Helsinki
Azerion is one of the largest media, entertainment and technology companies in the Netherlands and is rapidly expanding in Europe. This growth is the main reason why Azerion wants set up their own office campus, where they can combine several of their companies in one place. The new office campus will provide workplaces for approximately 200 employees. The campus will also include an Azerion Fun Centre, with an auditorium, a game theatre, a conference room and of course a Finnish sauna.

Joost Merks, Board member, Head of M&A and strategic cooperations at Azerion: “Azerion is an innovative company that is growing very quickly, partly due to its acquisition of other companies. We are very pleased that RED Concepts, with their international expertise, is realising our first office campus in Helsinki.

Gawein Minks, owner of RED Concepts: “This marks RED Concepts’ first project in Helsinki and we are proud to realise this project for Azerion. This office campus is a perfect fit with the nature of the company and it’s located in a great spot in the city centre. This also explains why investors are so interested in acquiring the campus once it’s complete.”

Design and execution
Finnish architect Kari Lappalainen designed the new office campus, complete with glass staircases and a special atrium, and Finnish contractor NHK Rakennus Oy is responsible for construction.
