Friday 28 January 2020 was a day to celebrate for the first residents of the Garden Village new-build project in the Polderzoom neighbourhood of Aalsmeer. They were the first to receive the keys to their architect-designed homes on Charles Gabrijweg. This new street consists of 24 unique houses that together form a striking streetscape in Aalsmeer.
The Charles Gabrijweg is a high-profile street with unique architecture. The residents of the 24 houses have chosen their unique design houses from the housing library of WeBuildHomes. The houses in Aalsmeer have been built with care by Boer Bouw, a firm known for quality and reliability.
The last houses will be completed at the end of March. WeBuildHomes considers this a good moment to mark with a festive get-together for all residents and everyone else involved in the project. Alderman Robert van Rijn will also be present to welcome the new residents.
Gawein Minks, director of WeBuildHomes: “Our online housing library makes architecture and freedom of choice accessible for anyone with dreams of a new home. At the same time, we are creating a varied and striking streetscape; streets people want to live in.”
